THE TANUKI VERSUS FOX BATTLE BEGINS!
To protect the tanuki living behind the illusions at Yashima from their attackers, their leader Tasaburo Tanuki III challenges the foxes alone. Meanwhile, Kabane and his friends finish their training with Fukuhime while on route to Yashima, where they see that Kaede and Akagi have joined together to become a giant fire fox. Wanting to repay the Yashima tanuki for all their help, including trusting him with their treasure, Kabane meets up with Kon, and together they head to battle. Series Overview: In a quiet rural village, livestock has been dying off in a strange manner. Inugami, a detective of the occult, is summoned from Tokyo to solve the mystery. He meets a boy scorned by the villagers, who call him Dorotabo after a yokai that dwells in the muddy fields. Inugami soon learns that there is more to the boy than meets the eyeand vice-versa.
